Unique technology for biological treatment and post-treatment of wastewater

Description of the method

One of the numerous environmental problems of modern civilization is the utilization of industrial, domestic sewage, liquid waste of livestock and poultry ponds, urban water bodies, lakes, small riv-ers, ponds in recreation areas, etc.

We offer you a unique technology of biological cleaning and post-cleaning of small rivers, swim-ming ponds, all kinds of sewage (from livestock, poultry, urban), with the help of microorganisms and the representative of the highest aquatic vegetation - Eichhornia crassipes-water hyacinth.

The plant effectively cleans water bodies listed on the list of dead or on the verge of this, small riv-ers, drains, settlers of industrial, domestic, livestock and other similar origin.

Cleaning the drains of harmful impurities, the plant in itself does not accumulate them, but "eats", while actively vegetating. The dirtier the pond, the faster the hyacinth grows and propagates. If water is clean and there is nothing to eat, Eichornia is engaged in dredging, that is, begins to pro-cess the available bottom silt. Eichornia can be used where, for at least 2 months, the sewage temperature is at least 16 degrees.

Taking into account these properties of the plant, scientists and specialists have developed, tested and patented the technology of its use for post-cleaning of treated urban sewage at sewage treat-ment facilities.

Subsequently, the plant can be used as an organic fertilizer, as well as raw material for biogas pro-duction and for livestock feed. In Russia, the plant passed official testing in the Don Zonal Institute of Agriculture.

The unique properties of Eichornia, grown on treated waters of sewage treatment plant and shal-low water, allow in the shortest possible time:

1. Able to eliminate completely the strong poisonous smell of sedimentation tanks in summer when the plant overlaps more than half of the area of sedimentation tanks, which creates their own bio environment in them.

2. Allows to clean sediments in channels clogged with mineralized sediment.

3. Water cleaned from harmful contents can be used as circulating water for commercial purpos-es: irrigation, and others.

4. When treating wastewater, this method kills all pathogenic bacteria controlled by SES.

5. The plant has a powerful transpiration up to 50 million liters per hectare, and therefore has a high vegetative activity.

6. Opportunity to obtain a significant yield of high-protein vitamin fodder mass in the wastewater surface areas up to 500 tons per hectare per season.

7. Possibility to use the grown biomass both as feed and as a vitamin supplement in combination with winter fodders in an amount up to 15% of the main feed, which improves digestibility, affects the weight gain of animals and, consequently, saves the main feed.

8. When feeding it to quarantine animals, they quickly recover.

9. The principal solution of many problems of feed shortage. Application of green mass as a more effective organic fertilizer - vermicompost...

The use of Eichornia makes possible to purify sewage and other wastewater bodies from organic and bacteriological pollutants without disturbing the biocoenosis of water bodies and shores, and also, to ensure the natural creation of a very attractive landscape and apparent improvement of the adjacent territories.
